Data review for Roche Elecsys assay lot number format 05/10/2021
There will be a review of all EDCNet data regarding lot number format for Roche Elecsys. Roche has confirmed that the required lot number should be 6-digits and not 8-digits as in EDCNet. The 8-digits refer to the provision for a pour number for the same manufactured lot. However, having this capability in EDCNet has allowed users to enter in any combination of lot numbers, as long as there are 8 digits. The conclusion has been a separation of peer group data. NRL will review all data and reduce the lot number information to 6-digits commencing 18 October 2021. Migration of all lot data will likely take up to 3 months. All batch masking for Elecsys assays will be switched to 6-digit input as of 18 October to eliminate 8-digit entry. For more information or any questions, please contact qconnect@nrlquality.org.au
